Designing Alliance Health Project's Pride Campaign Imagery
A return client, UCSF Alliance Health Project, asked me to create their annual pride shirt for staff.
CHALLENGE
How could we communicate their theme, “Pride as Protest", which spoke beautifully to the (long overdue) momentum for truly inclusive equity, through apparel graphics?
My Role
Originally designed as an internal-only shirt, the client liked the design so much they ordered extra stock to use the shirt as a fundraiser. They sold $2500 worth of inventory (120 shirts) in the first week alone!
A COLLABORATION SO NICE WE DID IT TWICE
After the success of the first shirt, when Pride rolled around during the following year, the client asked me to design their annual shirts for a second time, in alignment with their 2021 theme “Still Here. Still Queer. Still Proud.”
I repurposed the t-shirt graphic for use on the organization’s social media channels, index page carousel and landing page banner.
